in all schools. We are seeking kind, caring, patient, hard-working individuals to support students in a school environment. Casual employment is flexible and may be in addition to other employment. You may accept or decline available days of work. Casual employment provides the opportunity to gain experience in the role of Educational Assistant to assist in acquiring permanent and temporary positions.
Educational Assistants are valuable members of the team supporting students. The duties may include supporting physical and cognitive needs of students. Experience working with individuals with cognitive or physical limitations would be considered an asset. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish rapport and maintain a calm demeanor to effectively support the needs of students.
The successful candidate will work as a collaborative member of a team providing assistance to teachers in the delivery and implementation of educational programs and services that facilitate the integration, growth, learning, safety and comfort of students with intensive needs. The successful candidate will work students independently, in small groups, or assist in a classroom setting.
Wages and benefits for the position are in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.
Casual rate: $20.86 per hour
Wage range for temporary or pemanent EA positions (with qualifications such as Education Assistant Certificate - Great Plains College/SaskPolytech): $21.89 to $24.88

Child and Youth Counsellor

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Supervisor of Mental Health and will provide counselling services to students in Outlook High School. Counsellors are compensated for travel between assigned schools. The schedule for counselling is determined in consultation with the school-based administrators and the Supervisor of Mental Health.
The individual in this position will:

engage in liaison activities with parents and guardians.
provide workshops and in-service in area of expertise to teachers when requested.
